Dj Myme got his first turntables in 2001 and continues to come from a strong turntablism angle. He started entering competitions in 2003 whilst based in Edinburgh. He has been a 3 time Scottish DMC finalist 2003/2004/2005, Myme also place third in the Scottish DMC finals in 2005. He was also the Edinburgh Access Battle Champion in 2004. Now based in London Myme placed fourth in the London DMC finals in 2007.

Five of his mix cds have been reviewed and featured in HHC (Hip Hop Connection) magazine. Myme has worked with Beatroot records on various projects including three download mixes and various remix work.

Myme continues to bring the turntablism element to a collective of musicians, some live dates will be added for 2009.

Myme has layed down scratches for Underground Hip Hop legend Prince Po (Organized Confusion). More recently he has worked with the cream of the Bay area Hip Hop: Planet Asia; again laying down cuts on his work.
