DJ Alex Pe Win is 33 1/3 of the Voices Collective alsongside fellow DJ's Cedric Woo and Ramar and live percussionist 'Bongomaniac'.

Alex has been a working and professional DJ since 1990 but traces his musical roots and record buying back to the early-mid 80's electro and rap scene. A breaker (dancer) from 84 - dancing has been a major part of his life and gained a massive momentum with the arrival of House music in late 88 and 89 and still fuels his passion for DJ'ing and dancing here and abroad.

Alex has held residencies at London's Plastic People for Attica Blues & Hoxton Pimps infamous all night warehouse parties as well as guest appearences for Lasermagnetic and Stussy UK. Abroad Alex has been invited to Los Angeles to play at 'Free Thinkin' and San Diego's 'Lounge Candelah' and New York's APT to play alongside such luminaries as Citizen Kane (The Deep End), Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area) and Theo Parrish (Sound Signature).

2009/10 and Voices Sound system was launched and the collective also returned to host the 1st Friday of each month at Plastic People on Curtain Road in Shoreditch, London EC2. They were joined by an array of guest DJ's Citizen Kane, Daniel Wang (Balihu), Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area), DJ Kaos (Berlin) Gerry Rooney ( Black Cock Recs), Joel Martin (Quiet Village), Nick The Record (Soul Ascendants), Gatto Fritto (Dissident, Fritto Morto Recs). Alex has also guested on radio on Tim Sweeney's 'Beats In Space' WNYU and DJ Small Change on WFMU in New York and New Jersey.
